In July of 2005, Fail Engineering at the request of Bayview Management Group, Inc.
provided a System Switching Audit at Reserve Telephone Company to assist them in an
investigation of questions related to billing, transport usage and regulatory issues.
Fail Engineering first provided a basic Central Office audit. This audit was used to
determine the amount of transport in use, how it was being used, how call routing was
performed, identification of call blockages, and determination of how call blockages
(fast busies) were being addressed. After the initial audit Fail Engineering provided
a report addressing the issues, providing detailed Trunking diagrams which included all
copper and fiber paths.
