2004/2005 - Fail Engineering worked with Bay Springs Telephone Company personnel and Sprint North Supply to expand its fiber distribution network to provide broadband service to new remotes within its 12 exchanges and to upgrade optical capability of a number of existing remotes. The project utilized Lucent DDM2000, Lucent DMX and Adtran Optimx 6100 lightwave equipment in a variety of protected optical ring and sub-ring configurations.

Fail Engineering provided project management including site surveys to determine the lightwave and electronics requirement for each site, preparation of specifications, request for vendor quotes, assistance in vendor selection, contract negotiation, coordination of customer training, verification of inventory and equipment configurations, performance of onsite supervision of installation, integration and turn up activities and final walk through inspection, invoice validation and closeout.
